Purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment for a cattle farm

The current investment project under measure 4.1 Investments in agricultural holdings of the "Rural Development Program 2014-2020" is aimed at purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment for breeding a herd of 70 beef cows in an existing livestock farm № BG 88950194 in District : Sliven, Municipality: Tvarditsa, Shivachevo, x GPS 42.6852, y 26.0187. The purchase of agricultural machinery is a necessary long-term strategy for the application of modern solutions in animal husbandry, which will increase the ability to maintain a high level of competitiveness of the farm. The current project is part of the strategy for expansion of the farm and the aim is to provide it with sufficient adequate technical equipment. By putting into operation modern machinery and equipment, the subject of the investment will improve the quality of the produced fodder and the feeding of the animals. Mechanization in itself is a guarantee for sustainable development of the farm and protection of the biosecurity of the livestock farm, as better nutrition will reduce the risk of development and spread of animal diseases. In addition, the own cultivation of the feed with the equipment subject to the investment can guarantee the origin of the feed and reduce the risk of external factors causing contamination. The project proposal includes an application form, business plan, technical, financial-accounting and declarative information and other applicable documents, according to the requirements of Procedure № BG06RDNP001-4.008 under Measure 4.1. of the Rural Development Program (2014 - 2020). The business plan reflects the production program of the entire activity of the farm (livestock), indicates the economic and financial condition of the applicant, an analysis of its activities and reflects the forecasts for the development of the farm in this sector.
