Modernization of the agricultural holding of ZP Yordanka Borisova, through the purchase of agricultural machinery

ZP Yordanka Borisova has been engaged in agriculture since 2015. In the same year he was registered for the first time as an agricultural producer under Ordinance № 3 of 1999. to establish and maintain a register of farmers. The company has over 150 units, 145 of which are in the dairy direction: dairy cows and buffaloes, and the rest are calves under 2 years. The technology of animal husbandry is pasture. For the needs of the farm, the PA has over 130 decares, which are sown with triticale and alfalfa, intended for the proper breeding and feeding of cows. The project is focused entirely on the livestock sector. The equipment, subject of the investment, determines the need for modernization of the economy and increase of the competitiveness, as well as improvement of the working conditions of the ZP. The machines provided for purchase, which meet the requirements for biosecurity, will be used for cleaning the stables where the animals are kept, as well as for collecting the cereals and preparing them for feeding the animals. To achieve the goal, namely to increase the competitiveness of the farm on the market of cow products, the ZP intends to apply with the current project for the purchase of new modern agricultural machinery and attached equipment, as well as the purchase of equipment to improve animal husbandry. under the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020. The equipment and machinery provided for purchase is fully compliant with the production capacity of the farm, as well as with European and international standards and norms. The agricultural machinery that ZP Yordanka Borisova intends to use is for cleaning the stables where the animals are kept, as well as a mower and baler, which will ensure the quality collection of food for the buffaloes to the feeders. The technique will ensure the provision of biosecurity on the farm and the protection of animals from diseases.
