"Improvement of the measures for biosecurity, hygiene and welfare of the animals on a farm with sheep-dairy breeding, according to Ordinance 44/2006 on the veterinary medical requirements in the livestock farms by purchasing specialized equipment and machinery"

In order to prevent the spread and spread of animal diseases, it is very important to strictly follow biosecurity measures. Biosecurity is key to protecting any industrial farm. In this regard, a project proposal has been prepared for the purchase of tangible assets, which are in the context of implementation of measures for introduction of biosecurity and modernization of livestock farms for dairy sheep breeding and production of raw quality sheep milk. The applicant owns a registered livestock farm, according to Certificate №101 / 5789 from 07.05.2020 with a capacity of 1400, located in the village of Pisarovo, district Pleven. The current project proposal is developed on the basis of 700 pcs. dairy sheep, with an average milk yield of 200 kg. year old milking. The assets to be purchased are in accordance with the planned number of animals for breeding and mainly concern the processes of storage of raw sheep's milk, providing quality fodder for animal feed, providing a suitable microclimate in the barn, quality cleaning and maintaining optimal hygiene in the barn, according to the current legislation for introduction of biosecurity measures in industrial livestock farms.
