Modernization of the farm of ZP Nikola Ninkov Vasilchin through an extension to an existing building for sheep breeding, construction of a food path in the livestock site and investment in equipment, agricultural machinery and equipment

Within the common European market and given the full membership of Bulgaria in the European Union for ZP Nikola Ninkov Vasilchin, it is essential to achieve a high quality agricultural product at low production costs. allowing to achieve high competitiveness on the market. ZP Nikola Ninkov Vasilchin is an agricultural producer who raises cattle and small cattle on the land of Svishtov municipality, Dragomirovo village. The main activity of the agricultural producer is the breeding of small cattle with dairy direction. At the moment the farm has 114 cattle and buffaloes, of which calves and pups up to 1 year - 28, calves and pups over 1 year and under 2 years. for fattening - 46 pcs. ; dairy cows - 3 pcs; beef cows - 37 pcs. , sheep in total - 721 pieces, including dairy sheep - 579 pieces, meat sheep - 82 pieces. For the feeding of the livestock farm the agricultural producer has 75 decares of alfalfa and 1955, 611 decares of pastures and meadows. To achieve the goal, namely to increase the competitiveness of the livestock market, ZP Nikola Vasilchin intends to apply with this project for an extension to an existing building for sheep breeding, construction of a food path in the livestock facility, investment in equipment, agricultural machinery and equipment. Sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020. The aim is to improve the activity of the agricultural holding, increase competitiveness by modernizing the production conditions contributing to the production of high quality production at low cost, application of environmentally friendly agricultural machinery, protecting the components of agroecosystems and reducing the effect of anthropogenic impact on them. The purchase of the agricultural machinery envisaged under the project is a prerequisite for improving the resource efficiency in the agricultural holding.
