Purchase of agricultural machines an equipment for the needs of the sheep farm of Agricultural producer Nikolai Iordanov Krastanov

ZS Nikolai Iordanov Krastanov is a registered farmer who cultivates a total of about 6000 dka agricultural lands in Bozhurishte municipality, Sofia district. The main activity of the agricultural producer is plant growing - growing cereals, technical and fodder crops and animal husbandry - raising sheep for meat and milk. The applicant owns a livestock farm with a capacity of up to 600 sheep for meat and milk with registration number 5710060008 according to a certificate from the Bulgarian food safety agency № 291 dated 17.05.2017. Priority for the development of the applicant's farm is to increase the level of profitability of livestock activities by reducing the cost of feed produced by the farmer, as well as increasing the number of dairy sheep in the flock of 412. of 467 pcs. of the Breznishka sheep breed, for the purposes of this project. In order to achieve the goal, namely to increase the competitiveness of his farm on the market, Nikolai Iordanov Krastanov intends with this project to apply for the purchase of modern agricultural equipment and machinery. The purchase of a tractor and a telescopic loader aims to drastically improve the activities on the livestock farm, incl. optimizing sheep nutrition and ensuring a high level of biosecurity. The purchase of the assets under this project aims to improve the independence of the wheat, corn and oat production activities, which are used for the production of fodder on the livestock farm. This will increase the competitiveness of the farm by modernizing the production conditions, contributing to the production of high quality products of animal origin at low cost, increasing biosecurity, improving environmental protection by applying environmentally friendly agricultural technology that protects the components of agro-ecosystems. and reducing the effect of anthropogenic impact on them.
