Modernization of a pig farm

In order to increase the level of biosecurity and prevent infection on the territory of its livestock farm, the company intends to take actions aimed at increasing the level of biosecurity and prevention of disease on the territory of its pig farm, namely: Purchase of technological equipment for Building 1: Conditional pregnancy, proven pregnancy, farrowing and adolescence, which will allow the isolation of individual groups of animals. The implementation of the project will lead to an overall improvement of the financial condition of the company and significant growth in all economic parameters. The commissioning of the technological equipment will increase the level of biosecurity in the pig farm and will minimize the possibility of spreading infectious diseases. The effect of the individual elements of the investment can be summarized as follows: 1. The animals will be divided into small groups, separated by bulkheads and will not have direct contact with each other. Drinkers are individual and their mechanisms do not allow contamination of drinking water. 2. Feeding equipment that prevents access to feed for rodents, insects and birds that may be carriers of infectious diseases. Transport augers and chain-stop conveyors take the food from the hoppers to each feeder in closed pipes. The feeder system does not allow spillage and contamination of food and provides individual consumption by each animal. 3. Climate control equipment - Climate control equipment allows controlled introduction of fresh air, which is cooled if necessary. 4. The microclimate software system ensures the comfort of life of the pigs without the need for them to leave the building, which is another preventive measure aimed at limiting the spread of diseases.
