Construction of a barn for pregnant sows and maternity pens in accordance with biosecurity requirements

With the present project proposal AISAM EOOD, applies under Procedure through selection of project proposals № BG06RDNP001-4.008 - Target admission for farmers in the sector "Livestock" under Sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of measure 4 "" Investments in tangible assets "" from the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020. AISAM EOOD is a registered agricultural producer raising cattle for fattening from the Aberdeen Angus, Hereford and Limousin meat breeds. All kept animals on the farm are highly selected and with a complete pedigree of the bred breeds, and since its inception only the highest quality genetic material is used on the farm, which directly affects the quality of fattened animals from the farm. Cattle breeding is pasture. The barn currently in use is old and very depreciated. The livestock site of AISAM EOOD is positioned on the land of the village of Trem, Hitrino municipality, Shoumen district. The company has other activities - crop production, sheep breeding, transport activities, etc., which are not subject to this business plan and the forecast of net cash flows from them are described in detail in Table 15. The investment proposal aims to build a stable for pregnant sows and maternity pens in accordance with the requirements for biosecurity (in place of the existing one) and its equipment for the needs of the livestock farm in the village of Trem, thus modernizing major activities on the farm. The existing barn is old and depreciated and will be dismantled / demolished economically by the investor at his expense. In particular, the investment includes construction and installation work on a new stable building for pregnant sows and maternity pens and technological equipment for it, according to the attached technological project. The equipment includes cowsheds, feeding and watering facilities, a liquid manure homogenisation and pumping facility and a horizontal feed trailer.
