Modernization through the purchase of a machine for sorting and packaging of eggs and investments in biosecurity in a poultry farm of "KIPKOM" EOOD, located in the village of Smilets, municipality of Silistra

With this investment proposal "KIPCOM" EOOD applies under sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" under a selection procedure № BG06RDNP001-4.008 "Target admission for farmers in the livestock sector" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" for the purchase of a new machine for sorting and packaging of laying hens from reared laying hens, reconstruction and extension of a building for a packing center for eggs, purchase and construction of two new silos for storage of fodder, purchase of a portal arch for disinfection of vehicles, purchase of transport line for eggs and purchase of a specialized refrigerated vehicle, which will ensure the technical necessity of its livestock farm in the village of Smilets, municipality of Silistra, district Silistra. The project includes investment in a new modern high-tech packaging machine with a capacity of 20,000 pcs. eggs per hour. At the time of application, the applicant has one livestock farm № 3BG19049, which is registered under Art. 137 of the LCA. The total breeding capacity in the livestock farm is 40,000. laying hens, which are reared intensively in enlarged cages by adolescents from 16 weeks to 78 weeks, when the flock is replaced and the old birds are dispatched for slaughter. The applicant "KIPCOM" EOOD for the first time applies under sub-measure 4.1 of the Rural Development Program, relying on the implementation of the investment to modernize the farm and to introduce the necessary biosecurity measures under Ordinance 44. The purchased assets will be achieve renewal and modernization of the available production tangible assets, as well as improvement of the biosecurity in the livestock farm of "KIPCOM" EOOD.
