ZP Ivan Slavchev Podolinski has been a registered agricultural producer since 2013 with main activity meat animal husbandry - breeding of meat and cattle (cattle and calves). The applicant's farm has the capacity of a total of 300 cattle. Newborn calves are fattened to a weight of 600 kg and are realized as live weight. The cow farm, owned by the applicant, is located on the land of the village of Borovitsa, Belogradchik municipality, district Vidin, which falls on the territory of the disadvantaged areas in the country, as well as in Northwestern Bulgaria. The farmer also manages 194 ha of natural meadows and 156 ha of pastures and meadows, which are fully used to feed the animals on the farm. The applicant does not carry out any other activity as a farmer other than the activity of raising cows for meat. This project envisages modernization of the applicant's livestock farm by purchasing a telescopic loader with attached equipment; a tractor with attached equipment, a feed mixer and a scale, necessary for servicing the activity of the livestock farm, incl. cleaning, feeding of animals, digging, loading and unloading of bales of hay and silage and other activities necessary for the activity of raising cows for meat production. The investment will be made in one main stage: I. Modernization of a livestock farm for raising cows and calves for meat, by purchasing agricultural machinery for the needs of the livestock farm. The equipment will be used only for activities in the livestock farm, which will ensure biosecurity, improve working conditions, improve hygiene, veterinary, phytosanitary and environmental production conditions, and improve the quality of agricultural products.
