Modernization of livestock farm

ZP Slavi Georgiev Yanev is a registered agricultural producer since 2013 with main activity meat animal husbandry - breeding of livestock for meat - cattle (cows and calves). The applicant's farm has a capacity of a total of 150 EPZ. Newborn calves are fattened to a weight of 500 kg and are realized as live weight. The cow farm, owned by the applicant, is located on the land of the village of Malki Tsalim, Sandanski municipality, district Blagoevgrad, which falls on the territory of the disadvantaged areas in the country. The agricultural producer also manages 139.66 ha of pastures and meadows and 40.72 ha of natural meadows, which are entirely used for feeding the animals on the farm. The applicant does not carry out any other activity as a farmer other than the activity of raising cows for meat. The present project envisages modernization of the applicant's livestock farm by purchasing a telescopic loader and double bales for bales, necessary for servicing the activity of the livestock site, incl. cleaning, feeding of animals, shoveling, loading and unloading of hay bales and other activities necessary for the activity of raising cows for meat production. The other part of the investment under the project is the purchase of 4 pcs. non-freezing drinkers and 2 pcs. solar energizer designed to power the fence shepherd. The investment will be made in one main stage by purchasing agricultural machinery for the needs of the livestock site, which includes: Telescopic loader JCB 542-70 AGRI PRO - 1 pc .; Double forks for JCB bales - 1 pc .; Two-ball non-freezing drinker KERBL, Duo Thermo - 4 pcs and Solar energizer - 2 pcs. The machinery and equipment will be used only for activities in the livestock farm, which will ensure biosecurity, improve working conditions, improve hygiene, veterinary, phytosanitary and environmental production conditions, and improve the quality of agricultural products.
