Investments in physical measures that reduce the risk of penetration, development and spread of animal diseases in the livestock farm of "Moni Mes" EOOD

By applying under sub-measure 5.1 "Support for investments in preventive measures aimed at mitigating the consequences of probable natural disasters, adverse climatic events and catastrophic events" of measure 5 "Restoration of agricultural production potential damaged by natural disasters and introduction of appropriate preventive measures ”of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020, the company“ Moni Mes ”EOOD intends to perform the following activities: 1.) Purchase of disinfection facilities and equipment within the livestock facility. 2.) Purchase of equipment for storage of granules, providing protection and increase of safety during storage from wild birds, rodents and others. 3.) Repair of sanitary infrastructure in the premises where the animals are kept. With the implementation of the planned activities, "Moni Mes" Ltd. will meet its needs and increase its hygiene measures and biosecurity in animal husbandry. Expected results: - Increasing hygiene in animal husbandry. - Reducing the risk of adverse epizootic conditions in the land. - Limit the spread of infections. - Increasing the competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise, in view of the lower probability of animal loss. - Increasing the available disinfection facilities, which provides additional biosecurity.
