Purchase of a Line for processing of fodder against infected diseases, molds and microtoxins (disinsection and deratization of fodder) providing protection and increase of safety during storage

The purpose of this project is: the purchase and installation of equipment - a line for processing (disinsection and deratization) of feed, before their storage, against infectious diseases, molds and mycotoxins. The aim of this project is to supplement the available technological equipment for storage of different types of feed in order to improve their safety, as well as the overall biosecurity in the livestock facility, through the introduction of: - acid treatment of the grain to remove pathogens and causes of ASF in the feed; - additional cells for flavorings, acidifiers, mold inhibitors, etc. to increase the safety of the feed, its assimilation and its longer storage; - technological equipment for heat treatment of feed in order to reduce the development of molds, pathogens, bacteria and viruses, additional disinsection and deratization and safer and longer-term storage; The newly planned production equipment for feed processing in order to increase its safety for animals and prevent the spread of infections is planned to be installed in an existing room on the territory of the pig farm. The total value of the costs declared under the project amounts to BGN 1,060,008.38. The investment proposal is fully in line with the objectives and expected results of Procedure № BG06RDNP001-5.003, namely the introduction of preventive measures aimed at reducing the risk and limiting the consequences of infectious animal diseases and in particular limiting the possibility of ASF infection in pigs. The envisaged investment is also in line with the eligible activities under the procedure, namely "Investments in facilities and equipment related to the provision of prevention, including to increase the safety of feed storage.".
