Poultry farming in Bulgaria is a branch with traditions, which is one of the most promising branches of animal husbandry. It is characterized by a high degree of industrialization and concentration. A serious threat to the development of the sector is the spread of influenza (influenza) in birds. One of the ways in which the disease spreads is improper disposal of farm waste and low levels of biosecurity. The disease generates serious losses for the affected farms. In this regard, all biosecurity measures have been taken for the livestock breeding establishments defined in Ordinance № 44 of 20.04.2006 on the veterinary medical requirements for the breeding establishments (promulgated SG No. 41 of 19.05.2006). ., namely: • Delivery of a refrigeration chamber for RW and a telescopic loader intended for loading and equipped with a device for cleaning and disinfection; • Delivery and installation of a hot water station with frequency control and pressure disinfection equipment; • Delivery and installation of a machine for disinfection of the cassettes intended for transportation of the stretchers; • Delivery and installation of an arch for disinfection of cars and an extended floor ramp for disinfection of their running gear; Elimination of outbreaks generates serious losses for the affected farms related to the destruction of all affected and contact birds, layoffs due to lack of production and last but not least loss of confidence of partners and traders. In this regard, the aim of "Jenny Group" Ltd. is to take all necessary actions to reduce the risk of spreading the disease on the territory of the livestock farm of the company.
