Investments in biosecurity measures for livestock farms № 1BG20115

Poultry farming in Bulgaria is a branch with traditions, which is one of the most promising branches of animal husbandry. A serious threat to the development of the sector is the spread of avian influenza. Once infiltrated, the disease causes disastrous economic and economic losses to poultry and hunting. One of the ways in which the disease spreads is improper disposal of farm waste and low levels of biosecurity. The disease generates serious losses for the affected farms. In this regard, this project aims to take all biosecurity measures for livestock farms for poultry farming, defined in Ordinance № 44 of 20.04.2006 on veterinary requirements for livestock farms (promulgated SG No. 41 of 19.05 .2006, namely: • Supply of a refrigeration chamber for RU and telescopic loader designed for loading and equipped with a device for cleaning and disinfection; • Delivery and installation of a hot water station with frequency control and pressure disinfection equipment, designed for disinfection of production buildings and sites; • Construction of an openwork fence along the boundary of the site № 1BG20115; • Delivery and installation of an entrance arch for disinfection of cars with extended floor ramp for disinfection and their running gear; Elimination of the outbreaks of the disease generates serious losses for the affected farms related to the destruction of all affected and contact birds, layoffs due to lack of production and last but not least loss of confidence of partners and traders. In this regard, the aim of Georgi Georgiev is to take all necessary actions to reduce the risk of spreading the disease on the territory of his poultry farm.
