Growing of 3,388 decares of cherries, 18,136 decares of plums, 3,9 decares of meadows, 4,093 of vegetables and creating new permanent crops of 6,00 decares of cherries

The project proposal includes the cultivation of existing permanent cherry plantations of 18,136 decares, plums of 3,388 decares, meadows of 3,900 decares and 1,093 decares set aside during the current 2017/2018 economic year. Creation of 3,000 decares of permanent plantation of plums at a projected value of 750,00 lv. during the first projected 2018/2019 economic year, as well as cultivation of 3,388 decares of cherries, 18,136 decares of plums, 0,546 decares of potatoes, 0,547 decares of watermelons and maintenance of 3,900 decares of meadows. In the third year, another 3,000 decares of plums will be created at an estimated value of 750,00 lv. From the 3rd to the 5th year the farmer will grow a total of 28,617 decares of permanent crops and vegetables and will maintain 3,900 decares of meadows. In addition to the establishment and cultivation of permanent crops, the farmer provides for the acquisition of professional skills and competence by completing a 150-hour course in agriculture and a minimum of 8 hours of training including basic training on environmental protection in the agricultural sector or participation in information action on these issues. The farmer provides for the creation of 1 new work place at his farm.
