Start-up support for a young farmer

The project proposal of the farm manager Stanoi Nikolaev Ivanov is in line with the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" under the RDP 2014-2020 to facilitate and support the process of setting up of viable and sustainable farms and the promotion of employment. The expected results with a view to implementing the proposed project help to increase the number and share of young farmers in order to ensure sustainable development and facilitate structural changes in agriculture as well as to promote employment and job creation. The project proposal presents a farm of 22 decares of plum garden, located in the land of Bregovo, Bregovo municipality, Vidin district. In view of the development of the agricultural holding and the increase of its economic size, it is planned to plant 7 decares of permanent crops, of which 3,000 decares of apricots and 4,000 decares of peaches. The strategy for the implementation of the project activities envisages the purchase of a tractor in order to improve the modernization of the farm as well as the transition to organic production for the production of quality and environmentally friendly agricultural fruit products and creation of employment for one person.
