Start-up support for setting up and developing farms for young farmers

Farm will be specialized in the field of vegetable production. The arable land is not enough for the planned development and farmer is planing to increase it by renting agricultural land on which, he will continue to grow tomatoes - open field production as a main crop. The area covered with greenhouses is not planned to be increased. Farm will grow also potatoes, and cabbage and cauliflower as a second crop, after the potatoes are been harvest. Implementation of the business plan begins in the first business year by purchasing a disc harrow.All necessary agro-technical measures will be carried out in time. All the requirements issued from the national and European legislation will be followed. Farmer will take courses on environmental protection and professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture. With higher production volumes, the possibility of more profitable contracts for the purchase of wholesale products will be sought. Farmer is planning to employ one person on a permanent employment contract in the second business year. He will declare each year his areas for direct payments support and state aid schemes applicable to his holding.
