Development of a young farmer farm

Young farmers are a guarantee for the future of agricultural activity. They are holders of new skills and professional qualifications in the agricultural sector. The higher education level of young farmers will lead to easier adaptation of the sector to the upcoming changes, to the search for opportunities for higher productivity and competitiveness. Greta Toshkova Todorova was registered for the first time as a farmer on 11.08.2016. The young farmer manages plum and cherry garden and currently occupies a total area of ​​2.0898 ha. The plums are grown on a plot of land with a total area of ​​1,6502 ha located in the area of ​​"MINEV GERAN" for which the applicant has a contract for rent of agricultural land with registration number №15820 and the term of the contract is 7 years. The cherries are grown on a plot of land with an area of ​​№034011, with an area of ​​0.4400 ha located in the same area. The applicant has a Rental Agreement for the term of the contract for a period of 7 years. The strategy for the development of the farm is drawn up for the period 2018-2023 and is based on the linking of the available economic potential with the development of the human capital, of the production and natural resource. As a result of the implementation of the business plan for the third year, the farmer will manage a viable agricultural holding with lasting market positions that meets Community requirements in the sector, revealing and supporting a new job, which will achieve the stated objectives of the sub-measure 6.1 of the RDPP.
