Start-up support for a young farmer

The project proposal of the farm manager Victoria Krassimirova Vassileva is in line with the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" from the RDP 2014-2020 to facilitate and support the process of setting up of viable and sustainable farms and the promotion of employment. The expected results with a view to implementing the proposed project help to increase the number and share of young farmers in order to ensure sustainable development and facilitate structural changes in agriculture as well as to promote employment and job creation. The project proposal presents an agricultural holding consisting of 250 bee families, located in two apiary in the village of Shipot, Dimovo municipality, Vidin district. In view of the development of the agricultural holding and the increase of its economic size, it is envisaged to increase the number of bee colonies to 320 units. The strategy for the implementation of the project activities envisages the purchase of open machine for beekeeping in order to improve the modernization of the holding, acquisition of training for professional qualification and environmental protection, transition to organic production for the production of quality and ecologically clean bee products, employment per person.
