Development of a young farmer farm in Northwest Bulgaria

Young farmers are a guarantee for the future of agricultural activity. They are holders of new skills and professional qualifications in the agricultural sector. The higher education level of young farmers will lead to easier adaptation of the sector to the upcoming changes, to the search for opportunities for higher productivity and competitiveness. Desislava Nikolaeva Micheva was registered for the first time as a farmer on 09.03.2018. The young farmer ornamental orchard planted with plums currently occupying a total area of ​​1.2526 ha and vegetables - tomatoes - greenhouses with area 0, 0045 ha, cucumbers - greenhouses with an area of ​​0.0040 ha, pepper - garden with an area of ​​0.0085 ha. The term of the lease agreements covers the period of the business plan. The strategy for the development of the farm is prepared for the period 2018-2023 and is based on the linking of the available economic potential with the development of the human capital, of the production and natural resource. As a result of the implementation of the business plan for the third year, the farmer will manage a viable agricultural holding - a biological destination with sustainable market positions, meeting the Community requirements in the sector, revealing and supporting a new job, which will be achieved in a categorical way the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 of the PDRR.
