Establishment of a viable and sustainable agricultural holding, with the main activity of maintaining durable biologically cultivated crops.

The applicant for support under sub-measure 6.1 currently processes 29,671 decares of agricultural land. The farmer's land is used for a 15-year lease. The land is located in the village of Koprivets, municipality of Byala, Rousse district. The cultivated areas consist of 3 properties and are occupied with perennial plums - 20,018 decares, 4,000 decares plums and fallow land - 5,653 decares. Perennials are one year old and are not fruitful. They are of the Stanley variety and at their creation, the required density and planting pattern are respected. Crop farming is in a period of transition to organic production. There is a control contract. For the purpose of restructuring and adaptation of the farm, the cultivated areas, which have permanent plum plantations, will be increased by 9,653 decares. This will lead to an increase in the economic size of the holding compared to the initial size with at least BGN 4,000. For the needs of his farm and in order to reduce the cost of external mechanized services he will buy a rotor sprayer. The new plantations of 9,653 decares will be included in the organic production areas. Thus, the entire holding will be included in the control contract with a certification organization for organic production. She will complete a course in agriculture and will receive training on the main problems of environmental protection in the agricultural sector. The increased workload on the farm leads to the necessity of employing labor, so besides the employment of the young farmer, it will also provide employment for one person in the region.
