Sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program.

At present, in the Holding's Farm, situated in the village of Biser, Harmanli, reg. Haskovo cultivates 0,103 decares of tomato-greenhouse and 21,375 decares of permanent crops of peaches. The animals are grown in a land plot and the permanent crops are in close proximity, which is favorable for agro-technical activities.Peach plantations are young planted during the 2015/2016 crop year and are not in fruit growing period. The variety is predominantly of Elegant Lady and Red Heath varieties, but there are other crops and high yield varieties, but those for which climatic and soil characteristics favor optimal development and yield. There is no permanent farm staff. Agro-technical activities are carried out by the applicant and through the hiring of equipment and manpower. The farmer adheres to the technological deadlines for the respective treatments, applying good agricultural practices. Young Farmer will sell the obtained tomato products in the vegetable retail market or through wholesale sales from the holding. The production of the permanent crops also intends to sell on different market channels, looking for the optimal financial option.
