Growing of existing permanent crops of 16,541 decares of cherries and 5,000 decares of plums. Purchase of agricultural equipment and creation of new 6,000 decares of cherry plantations

The project proposal includes the cultivation of existing permanent crops of 16,541 decares of cherries and 5,000 decares of plums from the present 2017/2018 economic year to the fifth 2022/2023 economic year under the rules of organic production. In 2019, the farmer plans to undergo training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector by completing a course or participating in information activities on these issues of at least 8 hours. Purchase of a cultivator - 1 pc. in 2019 at a projected value of 3,000.00 lv. The farmer plans to create 1 new job in his farm in 2020. In the same year, the applicant will rent an agricultural land of 6,000 decares, which will create permanent cherry plantations. The estimated value of the new 6,000 decares of prunes is 1,480 lv. It is envisaged that the whole farm will move to organic production, and new plum plantations will also be cultivated under the rules of organic production, for which purpose an annex to contract with the controller.
