Supporting the process of creating a viable and sustainable farm of a young farmer orchard.

The holding is a plant-growing affiliate with the cultivation of orchards - peaches and cherries. It is located in the village of Chintulovo, Sliven municipality, Sliven. The plantations are located on two plots, managed under a tenancy contract. Peach plantations were created in 2014. The planting scheme is 4.5 x 3 - or in 1 acre is grown 74 pcs. trees in decare. There is a variety - Katerini. Cherry plantations were created in 2015. The planting scheme is 5 X 2.5 - or in 1 acre 80 p. trees in decare. The varieties are covered - "Cordia", "Black Star", "Ferova" and "Regina". The plantations are being watered, a drip irrigation system is in place. In the current year, the beneficiary has entered into a contract with a certifying organization to switch to organic cultivation of plantations. It plans to increase the amount of arable land and farmland by employing new peach plantations that also grow in a biological way. Its intentions are to invest funds in purchasing a motor pump to carry out part of the agro-technical measures in the plantations (watering) to meet the needs of its holding. Along with improving the economic condition of the holding, the applicant will do the necessary to acquire professional skills and competences through a minimum of 150 hours of training in the field of agriculture, including training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector sub-measure 1.1 "Vocational training and skills acquisition". The project also sets goals with social focus - opening new jobs. The applicant's predictions are to create additional employment by opening a new workplace with a production focus on the farm.
