Supporting the process of creating a viable and sustainable farm of a young farmer orchard.

The holding is a plant-growing affiliate with the cultivation of orchards - peaches and cherries. It is located in the land of Sliven, Sliven municipality, Sliven. The plantations are located in total on 6 plots, 3 of which are managed under lease agreements and the other three are its property. All areas are irrigated, with a drip irrigation system built. For peaches, the variety composition is consistent with soil climatic conditions. Klingon varieties for processing Katerini and Andrews are grown. Plantations were set up in 2014. Cherry plantations were also set up in 2014. The "Bigaro Bureau" variety is available. During the current 2017/2018, it cultivates 15,574 dc of peaches and 5,987 acres of cherries. It plans to increase the size of the arable land and the orchards, as well as the inclusion of new fruit species - plums that grow in a biological way. The applicant plans to purchase 7,000 acres. agricultural land and to create 7 decares of fruit plantations of plums. Currently, it does not have the necessary agricultural equipment and uses external mechanized services. Its intentions are to invest some of the funds in the purchase of a disc harrow for carrying out some of the most important agrotechnical activities connected with the activity on the holding - the mechanical control of the weeds in the plantations. Along with improving the physical condition of the farm, the beneficiary will do the necessary to acquire professional skills and competences by passing a minimum of 150 hours of training in the field of agriculture, including training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector. The project also sets goals with social focus - opening new jobs. The candidate's foresight is to create additional employment by opening a new workplace with a production focus on the farm.
