Creation of a viable and sustainable agricultural holding, by buying land and creating permanent plum plantations and keeping them in a biological way, on the farm of the farmer Mariana Ivanova Marinova.

The current agricultural activity of the applicant includes the cultivation of stone fruit species - prunes with a total area of ​​18.83 decares and pome fruits - pears with an area of ​​4.500 decares. The total utilized agricultural area is 23.33 decares. Plantations are bred in a biological way. There is a control contract. The cultivated plums are of Stanley, Strinava and Chachanska lepotica varieties. The pears are of the Pop, Villean oil and Pas cherry varieties. It manages six properties in total. Four of them are hired for rent and the other two are leased. All contracts are notarized, entered in the Registry Agency and certified by the Municipal Service of Agriculture in Sevlievo. The activity is carried out on the territory of the villages of Batoshevo and the village of Shumata, Gabrovo region, Sevlievo municipality. The minimum density of plums is 35 trees per acre. Pears are young and are not fruitful. The minimum density is 40 trees per acre. The farmer does not have his own technique. The activities required for restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to the maintenance of the existing perennial plantations with plums and pears and the purchase of land and the creation of new plum gardens of 6,000 decares in 2020. The new plum gardens will be included in the biological activity of the farm. To improve farm mechanization, a tractor will be purchased in 2019. The tractor will be purchased before nine months after signing the Sub-Measure Approval Agreement. By the end of 2020, the applicant will complete a course of 150 hours and a course on conservation of environmental components in the agricultural sector. The applicant has plans to create one job in the farm in 2020. It will achieve and maintain compliance with existing and newly introduced EU standards.
