Creation of a viable and sustainable farm and job creation by the young farmer Daniela Yordanova Dimitrova.

The agricultural activity of the applicant includes cultivation of plums with a total utilized agricultural area of 19,000 decares and 3,100 decares of natural meadows. There is a contract for control and certification. All properties are leased with the term of the contracts for 7 business years. The activity of the holding is carried out entirely on the territory of the village of Shumata, Municipality of Sevlievo, Gabrovo District. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery. There are no irrigation facilities, buildings or other facilities on the property. Plant protection chemicals and fertilizers are not used or stored on the holding. The requirements for keeping fertilizer logs and plant protection measures for all properties are not met. The applicant himself organizes and manages his activity. No production staff is assigned. Currently he does not keep accounting. The activities necessary for the restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to the maintenance of the existing permanent plum plantations and the increase of their plots and the applicant's intentions are to create on the current natural meadows 3,100 decares of plums and to hire another 2,900 decares of plum gardens. Newly planted and newly-occupied gardens will be included in the biological activity of the farm. To improve the mechanization of the farm will be purchased mower. The applicant will complete a course of 150 hours and a course on conservation of environmental components in the agricultural sector. By the end of 2020, the farmer will have complied with all EU standards related to his activities, including safety and labor standards and phytosanitary standards. Until the end of 2019, production staff will be assigned to the holding and a risk assessment by the Occupational Health Service will be carried out.
