Sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program.

At the present moment in the Holding of the candidate located in the village of Tatarevo, Mineral Baths, Reg. Haskovo, which cultivates 2,231 decares of cherries, 3,615 decares of permanent prunes, 3,700 almonds, 21,300 decares of aronia and one number of bee family. Perennials are located in adjacent properties, which is favorable to agro-technical activities. The entire farm is in the direction of perennial plantations, without being considered the bee family, which the applicant grows amateur, located in the perennial crops, in order to contribute to pollination and higher fertility. Aronia and almond plantations are bred in a biological way and plums are in a transitional period to organic farming / the farmer has a contract and a certificate of inspection performed by a certification organization. Plants of cherries and plums are young and are not in fertile period. The variety is predominantly of cultural and high yield varieties, but those for which climatic and soil characteristics favor optimal development and yields. The plantations of aronia and almonds are in a period of fruiting. Areas of aronia and almonds are currently in a period of organic farming, and the permanent plantation - is in a transition period in organic farming. Cherries are grown conventionally. There are no permanent staff on the farm. Agro-technical activities are carried out by the applicant and through the hiring of equipment and manpower. The farmer adheres to the technological deadlines for the respective treatments, applying good agricultural practices. Young Farmer realizes the resulting aronia output through wholesale sales from the farm. The production of other perennials also plans to sell on different market channels, looking for the optimal financial option.
