Creation of a viable and sustainable agricultural holding by maintaining in good agricultural condition the permanent perennial plantations with plums and cherries, purchase of land and creation of perennial plum plantations and organic cultivation of all plantings on the holding of Orlin Spasov Spasov.

The current agricultural activity of the applicant includes the cultivation of stone fruit species - plums with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​13,100 decares and cherries with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​8,899 decares. Plantations are bred in a biological way and are in transition. There is a contract with a controlling body for the certification of organic products. The cultivated plums are Stanley, Angelina and Santa Rosa. The cherries are of the sorts of Cordia, Bin, Bigaro and Sunbest. All six properties on the farm are own, for which the applicant has notary deeds and up-to-date sketches. The activity takes place on the territory of the village of Zhultes and the village of Popovtsi, Gabrovo district, Gabrovo municipality. Most fruit trees are young, non-fertile, but there are those who have entered a period of fruiting. The farmer does not have any agricultural machinery. No production staff is assigned. The activities necessary for the restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to the maintenance of the existing perennial plantations with plums and cherries and the creation of new 6 decares in 2020. on areas to be purchased by the applicant. The applicant plans to buy agricultural land and create new plums in the period 01.11. until Nov. 30, 2020. The newly planted plums will be included in the biological activity of the holding. To improve the mechanization of the farm, a sprayer will be purchased in 2019. Purchase of the sprayer will take place nine months after the signing of the Sub-Measure Approval Agreement. By the end of 2020, the applicant will complete a course on environmental protection in the agricultural sector. The applicant does not plan job creation on the farm. In 2020, the farmer will prepare a risk assessment according to the standards for safe working conditions.
