Growing of existing permanent crops of 22,00 decares of plums and creation of new 6,472 decares of plums

The project proposal includes the cultivation of existing permanent crops of 22,00 decares of plums from the current 2017/2018 economic year to the fifth 2022/2023 economic year under the rules of organic production. In 2018, the farmer plans to create 1,472 decares of plums worth 780,00 leva. In 2019, the applicant will acquire professional skills and competences by completing a 150 hours course in agriculture and will receive training on major problems in protecting the environmental components of the agricultural sector by completing a course or participating in information activities on these issues with a minimum of 8 hours duration. The farmer provides for the creation of 1 new work place on his farm in 2021. In the same year, the applicant will rent an agricultural land of 5,000 decares to create permanent plum plantations. The estimated value of the new 5,000 decares of plums is 2 675,00 leva. It is envisaged that the whole farm will move to organic production, and new plum plantations will also be cultivated according to the rules of organic production, for this purpose will be concluded an annex to the controlling party agreement.
