Development of a farm of orchards in Loznitsa municipality

Mustafa Mehmedov Mehov is a registered agricultural producer from 24.04.2017, which is active in the field of plant growing - Fruit and Vegetables sector. The applicant manages 17,928 decares of fruit plots (cherries - 7,568 decares and apricots - 10,360 decares) in rented areas. The plantations are situated in the land of the village of Sina Voda, Loznitsa, reg. Razgrad. The economic size of the holding, measured in the standard production volume equals, BGN 25403,98 (EUR 12988,85) and falls within the limits set in the eligibility criteria of the applicants under this procedure. The project proposal of the applicant provides for investments in the extension of the fruit-growing with an increase in the area of new 6,000 decares of apiaries that will be bred in organic way, the purchase of agricultural equipment, the passage of specific vocational training courses and the course on environmental protection, as well as creating additional employment. The main objective of the applicant is to achieve the sustainability and viability of the farm as well as to increase its competitiveness, which will be achieved by realizing the planned investments and activities.
