Start-up support for a young farmer

The project proposal of the farm manager Tsvetomir Damianov is in line with the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" of Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" under the RDP 2014-2020 to facilitate and support the process of setting up viable and sustainable farms and promoting employment. The expected results with a view to implementing the proposed project help to increase the number and share of young farmers in order to ensure sustainable development and facilitate structural changes in agriculture as well as to promote employment and job creation. The project proposal presents an agricultural holding consisting of 250 bee families, located in a beehive in the village of Chichil, Kula municipality, Vidin district. With a view to developing the farm and increasing its economic size, it is envisaged to increase the number of bee colonies to 320. The project implementation strategy also includes the purchase of 24 frame centrifuge to improve the farm modernization, participation in training to acquire professional qualifications in the field of agriculture, participation in training for conservation of environmental and water components, and transition to organic production for the production of quality and ecologically clean bee products and provision of employment for one person.
