Start-up aid for setting up and development of the farm of the young farmer Dimitar Sotirov for growing cherries and apricots and hiring an apricot garden.

In order to restructure its farm, the beneficiary will continue to cultivate 21,259 decares of cherry and apricot gardens and by the end of 2020 will rent 6,100 decares of new apricot garden. In this way, it will fulfill objective 1 of its business plan - "Increasing the economic size of the farm measured in SAR (minimum 4000 Euros)". In order to optimize production on the holding, the beneficiary plans to purchase a diversion section suitable for the farm's needs.This investment is scheduled to take nine months after the approval of the project. To acquire professional skills and competencies up to 36 months from the date of signing the grant agreement, but no later than the final date of the verification period for the implementation of the business plan, the farmer will complete a course of 150 hours. under Measure 1.1 "Vocational training and skills acquisition". In case this course includes hours (module) lasting at least 8 hours for environmental protection, the beneficiary will also pass it.Otherwise, it will look for another opportunity to participate in training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector and / or to participate in information on these issues. With the increase in farm capacity and workload, the need for disclosure at one workstation. For this purpose at the latest by the beginning of August 2021.g will be appointed 1pc. permanent full-time worker.
