Start - up support for setting up and developing farm for young farmer

Farm does not have enough farmland for its development. The arable land will be increased in future. During the first business year, a fallow areas will be planted with plum trees. Additional, 0,3000 hectares with plums will be planted in the second business year. Farm will develop only in the field of permanent crops. Implementation of the business plan begins in the first business year by purchasing a tractor and disk harrow. All the activities before planting (weed management, site preparation, fertilizing) will be made in the necessary time period. The propagation material will be from a licensed nursery. All the requirements issued from the national and European legislation will be followed. Farmer will take courses on environmental protection and professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture. With higher production volumes, the possibility of more profitable contracts for the purchase of wholesale products will be sought. Farmer is planning to employ one person on a permanent employment contract in the second business year. He will declare each year his areas for direct payments support and state aid schemes applicable to his holding.
