Sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" of the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program.

The candidate's estate is located in the village of Elena, Haskovo, Reg. Haskovo, with 250 bee families growing on two land plots. She owns two bees registered in the Bulgarian Academy of Science in the land of Elena. In an apiary located in the UPI it grows 200, and in the other 50 bee families. There is an EMS of EUR 15,977.87 / BGN 31,250. The bee families are healthy and productive. The bee hives in which the young farmer grows the bee families are the Dadan-blat system. They are in very good condition - healthy and well protected, located on raised, wind-protected, well-exposed terrain. Bees are grown in keeping with the specifics of the chosen technology. Prophylactic events are programmed. The area where the apiary is located is favorable for the growing of bee families - diverse polyfloral honeycomb vegetation, lack of pollutants in the surrounding environment. There are no permanent staff on the farm. Agro-technical activities are carried out by the applicant and through the hiring of equipment and manpower. The farmer respects the technological deadlines for the relevant activities in apiary by applying good beekeeping practices. The farmer uses a free space in the settlement, which serves for storage of apiculture inventory. Honey production plans to sell on different market channels, looking for the optimal financial option.
