Project under sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up support for young farmers" for perennial crops of peaches and cherries, and vegetables - greenhouse tomatoes, open-cut tomatoes and salads using organic farming methods.

The present project concerns the cultivation of permanent crops: 0.957 decares of peaches, 2.828 acres of tomatoes - open production, 1.100 decares of greenhouse tomatoes and 1.500 decares of salad in the area of the village of Mramor, Sofia, Sofia district. The applicant has signed a control and certification contract under Regulation (EC) 834/2007 and is in a transition period to organic production. During the years of implementation of the business plan, the applicant plans to invest in the purchase of a minibus, to increase the size of the arable land and to create 6,000 decares of permanent crops - cherries in the autumn of 2020. The planned increase in the holding will be entirely organic-growing crops, for which it will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person to control compliance with the rules of organic production. At the latest in the second business year, a permanent job will be opened. During the implementation of the business plan, the applicant will receive training on basic environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector, as well as a minimum 150 hours course for acquiring professional skills and competencies in the field of agriculture.
