Facilitating and supporting the process of creating a viable farm to grow bee colonies for the purpose of copper production, improving mechanization and creating a workplace.

Nikolay Velev is a candidate for support under sub-measure 6.1 start-up support for young farmers. The current agricultural activity is aimed at raising bee colonies in order to extract honey and bee products in a biological way. The candidate under the measure intends to carry out certain activities and investments over the years in order to restructure and adapt his farm. For the purpose of relieving the manual labor on the farm, improving the quality of the harvested produce will be purchased equipments for beekeeping - an electric centrifuge and a bath for printing. The farmer will continue to grow bee families and increase their number mainly through their own breeding activities. In the year of submission of a second payment application in apiary will be kept not less than 230 bee families. For the increased bee colonies an annex to the contract with the controlling person for the bioproduction will be concluded. Will comply with the requirements of Good Beekeeping Practices and will conform to the requirements of organic production. By the year of verification, he / she will take part in a training course on basic environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector or will participate in information activities on these issues. The increase in apiculture capacity and the increase in activity leads to the need to use additional labor and the farmer intends to create employment by employing one person.
