Supporting the process of creating a viable and sustainable farm of the young farmer Petya Baycheva Todorova.

The holding of Petya Baycheva Todorova is a plant growing, related to the cultivation of orchards of cherries and pears and vegetables in the open. It is situated on the territory of the village of Tolpachene, Sliven municipality. During the current 2017/2018, it cultivates 18,201 decares of gardens with cherries, 0,400 decares. pears and 1,700 decares of vegetables. The cherries are cultivated with 2 varieties "Van" and "Bing". The plantations are young - created in 2017. Vegetables are outdoors - 1,700 decares, such as spinach preculture and main crop of tomatoes. The Beneficiary commenced its agricultural activity on April 18, 2018 when it signed a contract for the management of 3 regulated plots in the village of Tolpachene. In the present year, she has signed a contract with a certification organization for the transition to organic cultivation of orchards. It plans to increase the amount of arable land and farmed orchards, which also grows in a biological way. To meet the goals of the business plan, plans to buy 6,000 decares. farmland and to create an orchard of cherry trees. Another objective of the candidate is to improve the mechanization by purchasing agricultural equipment, machinery and equipment for the needs of the farm. Its aims are to invest some of the funds in the purchase of a sprayer for carrying out some of the most important agrotechnical activities - pest control and plant diseases. Along with improving the physical condition of the farm, she will do the necessary to acquire professional skills and competencies by attending a minimum of 150 hours in the field of agriculture, including training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector. The project also sets goals with social focus - opening of new jobs. The prerequisites for the candidate are to create additional employment by opening a new workplace with a production orientation on the farm.
