Start-up aid for setting up and developing the farm of young farmer Petya Atanasova Vlaikova for growing perennial peach and cherry plantations and hiring a new plum garden that will be cultivated in a biological way.

The young farmer Petya Vlaikova grows 14,619 decares of peaches and 6,901 decares of cherries in the town of Sliven, Sliven municipality, Sliven district and plans to rent a new 6 decares of plum garden. In this way, it will fulfill objective 1 of its business plan - "Increase the economic size of the farm measured in the SOP (minimum 4000 euro SOP)" and objective 2 - "Increase farmland's arable farmland." It will conclude a contract with a certification organization and will start cultivating the new greenhouse in a biological way. In order to optimize the production on the farm, the beneficiary plans to buy an irrigation pump suitable for the needs of the farm. This investment is planned to take up to nine months after the approval of the project. With the increase of the size of the holding and the volume of work it requires, it is necessary to open one work place and a full-time permanent worker will be appointed by the end of May 2021.
