Project under SubMeasure 6.1 "Support for Young farmers" for the cultivation of permanent crops of plums

The project proposal is for the management and cultivation of agricultural land with a total area of ​​19,096 decares and a way of permanent use "orchard", of which 15,000 decares and 4,096 decares fallow. The estate consists of two land plots on the land of the village of Slivnitsa, Slivnitsa, reg. Sofia region with NTP "orchard". The applicant has a contract with a certification body - controlling person, for control and certification according to Regulation (EC) 834/2007 and is in transition from conventional to organic production. The applicant plans to improve the mechanization of the farm by buying a motorrotter in the first business year of the business plan. During the period of implementation of the business plan the applicant will purchase and / or lease additional agricultural land amounting to 2,000 decares. In this way, using the up to now set aside areas will increase the farmland's agricultural area to 6,096 decares. On this area the applicant will create the new permanent plum plantations. The planned increase in the holding will be entirely organic-growing crops, for which it will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person to control compliance with the rules of organic production. Within 36 months of signing the grant agreement, the farmer will acquire the necessary professional skills and competences by completing a course of 150 hours in the field of agriculture. There will also be a training-information activity on basic problems concerning the protection of the environmental components in the agricultural sector. Increasing arable land will lead to the creation of additional employment. For this purpose, the farmer will open a new job and provide additional employment to 1 person, who will appoint on a contract and full-time.
