Supporting the process of creating a viable and sustainable farm of the young farmer Denitsa Ivanova Ivanova.

The estate of Denitsa Ivanova Ivanova is a plant growing, related to the cultivation of orchards - cherries. It is situated in the land of the village of Selyminovo, Sliven municipality, Sliven. The plantations are located on 2 plots of land under lease contracts. All areas are irrigated, but there is no irrigation system at the moment. Created in 2017, it is mainly the Van variety. The planting scheme is 5 X 4. The beneficiary commenced its agricultural activity on 25.01.2018, later on 09.02.2018 it was registered as a farmer under Ordinance No. 3 of 1999. In the present 2017 / 2018 it processes a total of 24,478 dk, out of which 21,549 acres of cherries and 2,929 decares are set aside. In the current year, the beneficiary has entered into a contract with a certification organization for the transition to organic cultivation of orchards. It plans to increase the size of arable land and farmland by including new plots of fruit - planting new peach plantations - 8,000 dk, which also grows organically. Currently, it does not have the necessary agricultural equipment and uses external mechanized services. Another objective of the applicant is to improve the mechanization of the holding, and its intention is to invest part of the funds in purchasing a motor pump to carry out the agro-technical activities in the irrigation plantations. Along with improving the physical condition of the farm, he will do the necessary to acquire skills and competences by passing training on the main problems of environmental protection in the agricultural sector.
