Sustainable development of the farm for growing and producing cherries

At the date of the application The farmer cultivates 21.602 acres of permanent crops – cherries in the land of the town of Targovishte, municipality and Targovishte region. The areas are in transition to organic production, and the candidate has concluded a contract with a certifying company to control the bio-production. Of the employees in total 44.504 despent, about 23 acres are not processed. On a minimum of 6 acres the candidate will create a cherry plantation, which will also be cultivated organically. The candidate will increase his holding with a minimum of 4000 euro, creating a minimum of 6 acres of permanent crops-cherries. will continue to cultivate permanent crops organically and will meet the requirements of regulation (EU/№ 834/2007, regulation/EU/№ 889/2008 and Ordinance № 1 of MAF. will ensure employment of 1 number of production staff. In order to mechanization of the holding, will buy tiller. In order to acquire qualification and professional competencies in the field of agriculture, will complete a course of 150 hours in the field of plant production and possibly related to cultivation of perennial crops. Will complete a course in the protection of the environmental components.
