Start-up support for a young farmer

The project proposal by the farm manager Eleonora Ventzislavova Tomova is in line with the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" under Measure 6 "Development of farms and enterprises" under the RDP 2014 - 2020 to facilitate and support the process of creating viable and sustainable farms and promoting employment. The expected results with a view to implementing the proposed project help to increase the number and share of young farmers in order to ensure sustainable development and facilitate structural changes in agriculture as well as to promote employment and job creation. The project proposal presents an agricultural holding of 75.614 decares, of which 24.404 decares of other vegetables - spinach, 5.004 decares of sunflower, 40.000 decares of barley and 6.206 decares of fallow land, located in the village of Gradets, Vidin. In view of the development of the agricultural holding and the increase of its economic size, it is envisaged to preserve the current areas, and in the following years, a larger area of ​​the sponge will be cultivated at the expense of barley and sunflower. The strategy for the implementation of the project activities envisages the purchase of a tractor in order to improve the modernization of the farm, participation in training for acquiring professional qualification in the field of agriculture and training for preservation of the environmental components as well as the transition to organic production for the production of quality and environmentally friendly agricultural products and employment for one person.
