Creation of a viable and sustainable agricultural holding by increasing the utilized agricultural areas with permanent plums and their cultivation in a biological way on the farm of Dilyana Hristova Hristova.

The current agricultural activity of the applicant includes the cultivation of stone fruit species - plums with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​21,353 decares. Plantations are bred in a biological way. There is a control contract with a certification organization for bioproduction. The cultivated plums are mainly of the Stanley variety. It manages ten properties for which it has a notarized contract for renting. It has up-to-date sketches and a coupon for the registration of the contract at the Sevlievo Municipal Office of Land. The activity is carried out on the territory of the village of Stokite, Gabrovo district, Sevlievo municipality. The land of the village of Stokite falls within the scope of the mountainous areas identified as disadvantaged. The plum gardens are in a period of fruitfulness. The minimum density is 35 trees per acre. The farmer does not have his own technique. If necessary, agricultural machinery is rented or external mechanized services are used. There are no irrigation facilities, buildings or other facilities on the property. The activities required for restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to the maintenance of the existing perennial plum plantations and the employment of plum gardens of 6,000 decares in 2020. Growing plum gardens will be included in the biological activity of the farm. To improve farm mechanization, a tractor will be purchased in 2019. The tractor will be purchased before nine months after signing the Sub-Measure Approval Agreement. By the end of 2019, the applicant will complete a 150-hour course and a course on environmental protection in the agricultural sector. The applicant has plans to create one job in the holding.
