Start - up support for setting up and developing farm for young farmer

The farm does not have enough farmland for its development. The arable land will be increased in future. An orchard of stone fruits -plums will be planted on 0,6000 hectares agricultural land. Farm will be specialized in the field of permanent crops. Implementation of the business plan begins in the first business year by purchasing a tractor. Land for the planned development will be rented in the first business year as well. A new plum plantation will be established in the autumn of the second business year. All the activities before planting (weed management, site preparation, fertilizing) will be made in the necessary time period. The propagation material will be from a licensed nursery. All the requirements issued from the national and European legislation will be followed. Farmer will take courses on environmental protection and professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture.With higher production volumes, the possibility of more profitable contracts for the purchase of wholesale products will be sought. Farmer is planning to employ one person on a permanent employment contract in the second business year. She will declare each year her areas for direct payments support and state aid schemes applicable to her holding.
