The project is for growing perennial plants of plums by the methods of organic farming.

The current project is for growing perennial plants of plums on an area of 21.500 decares in the territory of the village of Tsalapitsa, Rodopi, region, Plovdiv. The candidate has signed a contract for control and certification according to Regulation (EO) 834/2007 for perennial plants, and is in a process of transition to biological production. During the years of implementation of the business plan, the applicant plans to make an investment in the purchase of a mower and will plant new 6.000 decares of perennial plants of plums during autumn of 2020. The planned increase of the crops will be entirely cultivated cultures by a biological method, for which a contract / annex with a controlling person will be concluded to carry out control over compliance with the rules of organic production. Up to 36 months after the financial support contract is signed, the candidate will achieve all necessary professional skills and competencies, based on an agriculture expertise training that will last at least 150 hours. The candidate will also be trained in foundational issues on preservation of environmental components in the agricultural sector.
