Development of a young farmer farm in Northwest Bulgaria

Young farmers are a guarantee for the future of agricultural activity. They are holders of new skills and professional qualifications in the agricultural sector. The higher education level of young farmers will lead to easier adaptation of the sector to the upcoming changes, to the search for opportunities for higher productivity and competitiveness. Ivan Zhorov Marinov was first registered as a farmer on 10.05.2018. The young farmer orchard orchard planted with plums, which currently occupy a total area of ​​1,7 ha. The applicant also grows 39 bee colonies in registered beehives. The term of the lease agreements will cover the period of the business plan. The strategy for the development of the farm is prepared for the period 2018-2023 and is based on the linking of the available economic potential with the development of the human capital, of the production and natural resource. As a result of the implementation of the business plan for the third year, the farmer will manage a viable agricultural holding - a biological destination with a lasting position on the market, meeting the Community requirements in the sector, revealing and supporting a new job, which will be achieved in a categorical way the objectives of sub-measure 6.1 of the PDRR.
