Creating a viable and sustainable farm.

The activities in the Project proposal on sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up for Young Farmers" are to facilitate and support the process of creating a viable and sustainable farm by increasing the economic size of the farm, increase of arable land, improving mechanization, conversion to organic farming of part of the farm and creating new jobs. These main objectives / activities will contribute to improving the economic efficiency and competitiveness of the applicant. According to the documents for use of agricultural land and a questionnaire form for registration as a agricultural producers, the applicant's holding consists of cabbage and cauliflower to be planted in July. The properties are located in the village of Stryama, Rakovski municipality. The total cultivated area of ​​the property during the current economic year is 20 decares, 9,5 decares will be planted with cabbage and 9,5 decares will be planted with cauliflower and 1 decare is under fallow and others. The farmer's plantations will be planted with varieties appropriate and promising for the climatic conditions of the region. The Growing and maintaining farm is with economic size (measured in Standard production volume in BGN) 20 653,00 BGN SPV or 10 559,71 EUR SPV. Successful implementation of this Project is not only an improvement in the current state of the applicant's farm but also a serious investment in its future development. The agriculture producer's aim is to develop a balanced, modern and sustainable agriculture.
