Project under sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up support for young farmers" for the cultivation of permanent crops - plums and morello cherries using the methods of organic farming and bee colonies

The present project concerns the cultivation of 17,000 decares of permanent crops - plums and 25 bee colonies in the village of Malo Malovo, Dragoman municipality, Sofia district. The applicant has signed a control and certification contract under Regulation (EC) 834/2007 for permanent crops and they are in a transition period to organic production. During the years of implementation of the business plan, the applicant plans to invest in the purchase of a trailer and to increase the size of the arable land by creating 6,000 decares of of permanent crops - morello cherries in the autumn of 2020. The planned increase of the holding will be entirely cultivated by biological method, for which he / she will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person for control over compliance with the rules of organic production. During the period of implementation of the business plan, the applicant will undergo training on basic problems on the protection of environmental components in the agricultural sector, as well as a minimum of 150 hours for the acquisition of professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture. At the latest in the second business year, a permanent job will be opened.
