Project under sub-measure 6.1 "Start-up support for young farmers" for the cultivation of perennial plum plantations by the methods of organic farming and perennial hazelnuts.

The present project is for the cultivation of perennial plants - plums and hazelnuts in the village of Ravnishte, Pravetz municipality, Sofia. The applicant has signed a control and certification contract under Regulation (EC) 834/2007 for plums and they are in a transition period to organic production. During the years of implementation of the business plan, the applicant plans to make an investment in the purchase of a leaf collector, to increase the size of the arable land, creating 6,000 decares of perennial plums in the spring of 2020. The planned increase in the holding will be entirely organic-growing crops, for which it will conclude a contract / annex with a controlling person to control compliance with the rules of organic production. In the second business year, a permanent job will be opened. During the implementation of the business plan, the applicant will receive training on key environmental protection issues in the agricultural sector.
